The focus of this group is on fun. Everybody is welcome and the group accommodates beginners and the more experienced.<br /><br />Styles range from African Gospel, Moravian calls, chants and beautiful rounds from many different cultures, to 70's pop songs and original songs written by Melbourne based artists.<br /><br />The current facilitator, Santha Press, is a local who has extensive experience leading community singing. She teaches voice at the Little Yarra Steiner School, lectures in community music leadership at NMIT, leads singing workshops for the Gawler Foundation and works as an independent community artist throughout Victoria.
